Die Onafhanklike Entrepeneurs Vereniging van Mosselbaai of die O.E.V soos dit kortweg bekendstaan het op 17 April 1995 tot stand gekom.
Die Vereniging bestaan om entrepreneurskap te bevorder en te bestuur met nadruk op informele handeldryf met die doel om in die besonder werk te skep, maar nie uitsluitlik vir diegene wie in Mosselbaai Munisipale Distrik woon nie.
Die O.E.V streef daarna om alle informele handeldryf in noue samewerking met die Mosselbaai Munisipaliteit te rasionaliseer en te beheer.

Die O.E.V is 'n nie-winsgewende organisasie in beheer van stalletjies, stalletjiehouers en handeldryf in voorafbepaalde gebiede gedurende skoolvakansies in die Mosselbaai Munisipale Distrik.

Die O.E.V ondersteun 'n gedragskode en beskik oor 'n grondwet wat die riglyne vir optrede deur die Vereniging daarstel.
Reëls en regulasies in plek asook Munisipale Ordonansies beheer optrede deur uitstallers.
Met ondersteuning van die Mosselbaai Munisipaliteit word drie Aandmarkte ( Straatmarkte ) elke Desember onderskeidelik te Hartenbos ( Twee Straatmarkte ) en Mosselbaai ( Een Straatmark ) aangebied. Die netto oprengs van die Aandmarkte word vir liefdadigheid in die Mosselbaai Munisipale Gebied aangewend.


The Independant Entrepreneurs Association of Mossel Bay, or the I.E.A. as it is commonly known was initiated on 17 April 1995.
The Association exists to promote and manage entrepreneurship with the accent on informal trading with the purpose of creating jobs, but not exclusively for those residing in the Mossel Bay District.
The I.E.A in close relationship with the Mossel Bay Municipality aim to rationalise and control all informal trading in the Mossel Bay Municipal District.
The I.E.A conform to a code of conduct and also have a constitution in place which provides guidelines for actions by the I.E.A.
Rules and regulations as well as Municipal Ordinances also control conduct by Stallholders.
Night Markets ( Street Markets ) supported by the Mossel Bay Municipality are being held every December.
Two Night Markets in Hartenbos and 1 Night Market in Mossel Bay are usually applicable.
The Night Market proceeds (Net amount) available are allocated for distribution to various charity organisations in the Mossel Bay Municipal District.

The I.E.A is a non-profit organisation in charge of regulating stalls, stallholders and their trading in prescibed areas of Mossel Bay Municipal District during school holiday periods.

Please Note: During non-holiday periods trading is mainly regulated by the Mossel Bay Municipality themselves.
